Optimize Your Lead Capture Form in Dubsado
Is your lead capture form working for you?
Once a lead hits submit after filling out your lead capture form, they have officially taken the first step to work with you. How would you like that process to start? As smooth as possible, I’m guessing.
Here are some actionable steps you can take to ensure your lead capture form is helping your clients get off on the right foot.
1. Gather the need to know information
What information is essential before getting on the phone with a potential client? Full name & email, website, services interested in, IG handle, budget, start date, etc.
I like to add in one fun question. This helps to establish a personal connection rather than strictly business.
Be careful to Mae your lead capture too long and with too many required fields. This may discourage potential clients if it takes up too much of their time to complete.
2. Link your scheduler
In Dubsado, there is an option for a scheduler to be sent after a lead fills out the lead capture form. It can either be done automatically, or you can opt to review the lead capture form first, approve that you’d like to move forward, and then have the scheduler be sent.
There is also an option to require the lead to pay an invoice before allowing them to schedule. This works great for paid consultations or services that don’t require a consultation beforehand.
You can dictate the parameters of your meeting times so clients can only select times you are available. Do you only want one client call a day? Do you prefer to take discovery calls in the morning? Do you tend to go over on calls and want to build in a buffer? These are all options you can select in your schedulers.
3. Set workflows depending on the response they choose
Does your process look different depending on which services a client is interested in?
Using the workflow option when you create your lead capture form, you can have specific choices trigger different workflows.
This allows you to automate a multitude of client journey paths right from the start.
